Deborah Broughton

Deborah Broughton is a contemporary artist based in Gladstone, a quiet arty village on the Mid-North Coast in NSW. Inspired by the beautiful surroundings of her home, Deborah’s paintings reflect her love of the beach and surf culture, and the fauna and flora found throughout our beautiful country.

Deborah was born in Zimbabwe, and later moved to South Africa, where she graduated in Psychology and Visual Communication. Deborah spent ten years working as a graphic designer, in South Africa, the UK and Australia, before returning to painting full time in 2003.
