Sydney artist, Lenny Pelling unearths the secret lives of critters great and small, weird and wonderful, furred and feathered through a unique mix of words and images.
In 2016, Lenny discovered an office setting was no natural habitat for an artist (and certainly no place to let loose quokkas and cockatoos from her imagination). These days, you’ll find Lenny working on her menagerie of critters from her home studio in Western Sydney, creating pencil artworks of such eye-watering detail as to make you want to reach out and touch. She is also a published author and illustrator.
Lenny’s commitment to our astonishing animals also extends beyond the page through support of wildlife and animal charities.
